Free weekly basketball (Donations accepted). Summer of 2025. Age groups: 6-7 year olds / 8-10 year olds / 11-13 year olds / 14-17 year olds. Participants must register before attending sessions. Please refer to the schedule of sessions to be updated regularly.

Summer Basketball Open Run 2025
WHAT IS THE SUMMER OPEN RUN
Thanks to funding from Sport England's Movement fund and support from the Brighton and Hove City Council, The East Brighton Sports Academy is delighted to offer a series of free sessions at the iconic Brighton Beach basketball court. Donations for this project are accepted (if you cannot afford a donation, just type £0 on the registration form) These sessions are led by a professional coach DBS checked, trained in safeguarding, has first aid certification, and holds a level 2 qualification. The programme is crafted to be exciting, fun, and engaging, with each age group having a tailored programme that includes guaranteed game time. Younger age groups will participate in mini-camps to learn the fundamentals of the game and its rules, followed by the chance to play games.
